Become a customer

  • Send an e-mail to creditcontrol@boels.co.uk stating your customer account number and the invoice number (or, if applicable, the contract number). After you have done this, you will receive a copy of the requested invoice as quickly as possible.

    If you want to be sure that the item you need is always available when you need it, our advice is to always book it in advance.

Rates & Deposit

  • Our tools and equipment are worth a considerable amount of money. This is why we ask private customers and companies that do not have a Boels account to pay a deposit.

  • The deposit will be paid into your bank account within 2 working days after you return the respective hire items.

  • The costs of consumables include, for example, fuel and wear costs. When you collect the respective products please ask how the costs of consumables are calculated. Our staff will gladly explain all the details to you.

  • Price-lists can be obtained in our branches.

  • You would pay the daily rate.

  • No, the minimum rental period is 24 hours.

  • The deposit amount varies for each item and depends partly on the value of the machine in question. If you want to know exactly how much deposit you will be required to pay, please contact your local Boels branch.

    All deposit payments can only be paid by debit / credit card.

  • Boels Rental uses two different concepts for its machine rental. On the one hand there are the rental outlets of Boels at DIY stores, which have a limited product range that caters to the DIY customer. A staff member of the DIY store offers you assistance and the rental agreement you sign is with this DIY store. The possible rental periods and rental rates are aligned with the needs of the DIY customer.
    The product range at a Boels branch, on the other hand, is much more extensive. What's more, the stock levels of our products are much higher, which means we are able to guarantee better availability of the equipment for you. These high inventory levels, combined with managing our own buildings and staff, mean that the rental prices in our own branches are higher than those in the DIY stores.

  • You can use this form for submitting a sponsorship request. Boels does however receive huge numbers of sponsorship requests, which means we cannot unfortunately accept every one that is submitted.

    In order to qualify for sponsoring, your request must in any case meet a number of requirements:

    • Boels only sponsors projects, activities or associations in countries in which the company is active.
    • Your initiative must have a national character.
    • Your initiative must positively contribute to culture, welfare or sport.
    • Your initiative must effectively promote familiarity with the Boels brand.
    • Your initiative may not be sponsored by another rental company.
    • Your initiative may not have a political or religious character.
    • Your request must be submitted at least one month prior to the respective event by filling our sponsorship request form.

    Only requests submitted by filling out the sponsorship request form and that meet the above criteria will be taken into consideration.

        The following do not in any case qualify for sponsoring:

    • Associations or foundations that raise money for charity; Boels already supports a set number of charities.
    • Student associations and study trips.
    • Company parties and anniversaries.
  • We will give you advice, but you will need to make your own arrangements for erection and dismantling of scaffold towers.

Conditions and Procedures

  • Of course you can. How much it will cost depends on the delivery address and the type of machine(s) you want to have delivered. These costs are different in each region and for each item. If you would like to receive more information about this, please contact your nearest branch.

  • As a private customer, you are obliged to sign a damage waiver agreement.
    Fire/theft insurance is not possible for private customers. Click here for an overview of these schemes.

  • In the machine breaks down, is stolen or goes missing, please inform the branch that hired out the machine as quickly as possible.

  • Yes, this is compulsory at Boels. You are required to present valid proof of identity (such as a passport, ID card or driving licence).

  • The machines and tools that you hire are clean and in proper working order when you come and pick them up. You will be charged for cleaning and/or repair costs if equipment is not clean or returned in a fit condition when it is returned.

  • Boels Rental offers two different hire rates;

    Daily rates
    Daily rates are based on hire/use of maximum 24 hours. If you deliver the machine back to us within 24 hours, you pay 1x the daily rate. The starting date and time of the rental period is stated on your contract. There is an exception to the daily rate for machines with an hour counter; the daily rate is then based on 8 operating hours. A surcharge applies for additional operating hours.

    Weekly rates
    Weekly rates are based on hire/use of maximum 7 days or 168 hours. If you deliver the machine back to us within 7 days, you pay 1x the weekly rate. The starting date and time of the rental period is stated on your contract. There is an exception to the weekly rate for machines with an hour counter; the weekly rate is then based on 40 operating hours. A surcharge applies for additional operating hours.
